PowerWind and REETEC sign Framework Agreement for Services
PowerWind GmbH, a manufacturer of wind turbines, and REETEC GmbH, a service provider, have signed a framework agreement for the provision of services in Italy.
REETEC has an experienced service organization and it has been agreed that the company will perform all regular maintenance work, attend to any break-downs and make repairs at short notice to all PowerWind wind turbines in Italy.
Both companies intend to expand their partnership to include other regions too.
For PowerWind, as manufacturer of wind energy converters rated at 900 kW and 2500 kW, Italy is a core market. Italian customers have placed firm orders to buy more than 55 PowerWind turbines. REETEC is an ideal service-providing partner in the region.
Founded in 1996, REETEC is one of the top service companies operating in the European wind power sector; it has many years of experience and already services wind energy converters totalling over 800 MW of output, including turbines produced by nearly all the best-known manufacturers.
German-based REETEC has subsidiaries or representatives in Spain, Portugal, France and Italy. In the context of the partnership, REETEC will cooperate very closely with PowerWind’s international service centre in Bremerhaven.
