Suzlon Energy Limited (SEL), the world’s third leading and India’s largest wind turbine manufacturer, announced the signing of a repeat order for 57 MW with Ayen Enerji of Turkey. The order will be supplied with 27 units of Suzlon S88 – 2.1 MW turbine, to be installed at the Seferihisar and Mordogan projects in east Turkey.

Suzlon Energy, the world’s fifth largest wind turbine maker, is in discussions with a consortium of wind equipment component manufacturers in Belgium, in addition to some leading turbine manufacturers in Europe, such as Vestas, to sell off its gear box manufacturing subsidiary Hansen Transmission.

Suzlon Wind Energy Corporation, a leading wind power company based in India, has penetrated the Bulgarian market. The wind turbine manufacturer was recently awarded the contract to sell six units of S88-2.1MW wind turbine units to Technomash Bulgarian Industrial Group.
